There IS a way to access settings and get to some of the controls in game. There is also a "Manual" that is available on some screens (like the in-game pause screen).Honestly, I've never tried running a Pistol offense. Whenever I've had a scramble-first type QB, I tend to default to either Michigan (NCAA 14 came out when Devin Gardner had just taken over the QB reigns from Denard "Shoelaces" Robinson, so that playbook is pretty scramble-friendly) or just using one of the custom playbooks.
