Hi, Few months ago I purchased a 2021 Ascent touring which currently has around 1600 miles, my build date is 08/2021 and I might be having the brake issues I’ve been reading about. When going down hill and applying moderate braking, more then just slowing down slightly but nowhere near hard ...I have had an issue with my brakes starting at about 10,000 miles. Pulsating brake pedal. The dealer has cut the rotors on front and rear two times- under warranty. Now, at 35,000 miles the front pads will be replaced and the rotors cut for a third time but still within tolerance. Everything has been documented.

Here is the original issues at hand for my 2020 Limited, and I believe a lot of you. Overly sensitive throttle, impossible to precisely vary RPMs below 2,400rpm. RPMs too high when cruising in city or hwy, manual shifting would easily lower by 500rpms or more. Poor gas mileage (12-14mpg) in the city, even when using cruise control.

As we all know, water boils at 212 degrees F, whereas pure brake fluid typically won't boil until it reaches over 400 degrees F.Maybe, maybe not. An analysis of the fluid will probably be able to tell them whether or not its ever been changed. Even if you could change the fluid, the filter is internal and cannot be accessed without major work.
